Adamstown, Co. Wexford
Take the M7 from Naas and exit at M9 (signposted to Carlow/Waterford/Kilcullen). Stay on M9 until exit 5. At exit 5 signposted Carlow and Rosslare exit onto N80 toward Rosslare. Go through Ballon village , Bunclody until you reach Enniscorthy. From Enniscorthy take the N30 road to New Ross. After approx. 9km take the R735 left turn signposted for Adamstown. For cross country events parking and registration will take place in Adamstown Village, the course itself is 100m from the village centre. Allow about 1.5 hours from Naas.
Athlone Indoor Arena
From Naas follow the Sallins/Clane Road. In Clane go through town and take left exit beside Petrol Station signposted Kilcock. Carry on out this road until you come to Kilcock. As you approach Kilcock take the 1st exit on the roundabout signposted M4 Sligo. Follow road to next roundabout and take 1st exit onto M4. This motorway is a toll road.
Continue on M4 and exit at Junction 6 to join the M6 signposted Galway/Athlone. Stay on M6 and exit at junction 8 signposted M62 Athlone. Once you exit motorway take left at first roundabout then take 4th exit right at next roundabout (Texaco Garage/McDonalds) following signposts for Athlone IT. Go straight on to the next roundabout and then turn right. The entrance to Athlone indoor arena is 200m on the left hand side. There is plenty of parking and indoor arena will be in front of you beside the football pitches. There is a canteen in the main Athlone IT building. Allow 1 hour 15 mins from Naas.
Ballyroan, Co. Laois
Take the M7 Southbound from Naas. At junction 17 exit toward Cork/Tullamore/Port Laoise. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto N77. After about 7km take left turn towards Ballyroan on Bog Road. Travel to Ballyroan which is about 3km from left turn. Allow 45 minutes from Naas.
From Naas go to Sallins and then drive to Clane. In Clane at ringroad roundabout take right hand exit which is signposted Maynooth/Celbridge. At end of ringroad take right hand exit at roundabout again signposted Maynooth & Celbridge. Stay on this road until you reach Celbridge - about 10km. Just before you get to Celbridge look for St Wolstans Secondary school. Take right hand turn just before school. Follow this road for a few hundred metres and take next left turn. The track is before you on the right hand side. Park beside track or on road outside. This track is a grass track. Allow about 25 minutes from Naas.
Take the M7 from Naas signposted Limerick and then join the the M9 junction 11 heading for Carlow/Waterford. Take the first exit of M9 signposted Kilcullen. Immediately after exiting turn right towards Athy over motorway bridge. Take the next left onto R448 signposted Kilgowan. Just keep on this road for about 10km. The road then gets narrow (down to one lane). Continue on this road and you will see a small church on the right followed by a sign for Kildare motor auctions. Take the next right turn at R415 (sign for St. Lawrence’s GAA)/ Narraghmore. Crookstown athletic track is 800m on right hand side. Park here and cross country venue is field next to track. Allow about 35 minutes drive from Naas.
Alternative route is to exit M9 at Ballitore exit and join R448 heading towards Kilcullen. 1km past Crookstown Inn take left turn signposted Narraghmore/St Lawrences GAA. Track 800m on right.
Dunboyne, Co. Meath
From Naas go to Sallins and then drive to Clane. In Clane at ringroad roundabout take right hand exit which is signposted Maynooth/Celbridge. At end of ringroad take right hand exit at roundabout again signposted Maynooth & Celbridge. Drive until you get to Barberstown Castle roundabout and then take left turn by following R406 road into Maynooth. Drive into Maynooth over Motorway bridge and in the centre of Maynooth take right turn onto Leinster Road and then take left turn signposted for Dunboyne (R157) andf follow the R157 into Dunboyne. Allow about 45 minutes from Naas.
Eire Og, Caragh (Opposite Mondello race track)
From Naas go out Newbridge road and take right hand turn exit on new Caragh road (road to our track). At next main roundabout go straight on and follow road into Caragh Village. Continue straight through the village on the R409 for approx 4km. Mondello race track is on left and Eire Og grounds on right. Parking is limited but Mondello usually open car park (gate 1) opposite GAA grounds. Allow 15 minutes from Naas.
Alternative route is to take the Millenium road from Naas and follow signs for Caragh.
Greystones - Shoreline Sports Park (Charlesland)
Travelling Southbound on the M50, go onto the M11, Take Exit 11 off the Main M11 route (signposted Greystones south). Straight through two roundabouts, down the hill, on the third roundabout, take the third exit and you enter into Shoreline Sports Park Charlesland. Reception is the Yellow building in front of the Playground and Track. This is a tartan track. Allow 1 hour 15 minutes from Naas.
Kilbeggan Racecourse, Co. Westmeath
From Naas go to Sallins and then drive to Clane. In Clane go through town and take left exit at top of town beside Petrol Station signposted Kilcock. Carry on out this road until you come to Kilcock. At Kilcock take the M4 Motorway west. Come off M4 at Exit 3 which brings you onto the N6 (Athlone Road). Follow the signs for Tyrellspass. KIlbeggan is the next town after Tyrellspass. At the square in KIlbeggan take a right turn and travel for approx. 1 mile and Kilbeggan racecourse is on your left hand side. Allow 1 hour and 10 minutes from Naas.
From Naas go to Sallins and then drive to Clane. In Clane go through town and take left exit at top of town beside Petrol Station signposted Kilcock. Carry on out this road until you come to Kilcock. At Kilcock go over Motorway Bridge and take next turn on left just before roundabout into housing estate. You will see the track on the left hand side. This track is a cinder track. Allow about 35 minutes from Naas.
From Naas go to Sallins and then drive to Clane. In Clane go through town and take left exit at top of town beside Petrol Station signposted Kilcock. Carry on out this road until you come to Kilcock. In Kilcock take the outer ringroad signposted Trim. Take the R158 which goes through Summerhill and onto Trim. Just before Trim town there is a roundabout signposted R160 to Navan, take this road. At the Lackanash Housing Estate there are traffic lights. Turn right here onto R161. After approx 10kms when you come into Navan turn left at the side of Super Valu and opposite Petrol station. Follow that road to traffic lights. Turn left then 1st left and stadium on right. Allow 1 hour 15 minute from Naas.
Kildare Town Cross Country venue on Rathbride Road R415
Take M7 Southbound from Naas, At Junction 12 take exit toward R445 signposted Curragh/Newbridge, At the first roundabout take the 4th exit, over the motorway and head towards Curragh Race Course on the R413. Follow all the signs to the Race Course and drive past the Race Course which is on your left hand side and continue on that road until you come to a V junction. Take a right turn here following the sign for Rathangan, this road will bring you up over the railway. At the end of this road you will come to a T junction, take a left turn onto the R415 (Rathbride Road). Go past the Cill Dara Golf Club and about 1.5k down this road you will see Kildare Town football club on the left, the cross country track is opposite the soccer club. The venue is 2km from Kildare Town.
Leixlip (Le Cheile Track), - From Naas go throough Sallins and Clane, then head towards Celbridge. At Barberstown Castle Roundabout take left turn towards Maynooth. Go over Motorway bridge on approach to Maynooth, then take the M4 towards Dublin. Take the first exit off the M4 sign posted Leixlip West and follow signs for Lexilip. At second Roundabout take right turn, Lidl is 200 metres on right hand side. The Leixlip Ameities Centre (Le Cheile track) is 200 m after this on right hand side. Allow 30 mins from Naas.
Join M7 motorway southbound and take exit 24 (signposted Nenagh R445) and follow signs into town. Look out for Abbey Court Hotel on left hand side. After Abbey Court Hotel take next left then at roundabout take exit signposted Thurles & Hospital. Straight after hospital take right hand turn then 1st right again into track. Parking is limited so you may need to park on roads/estates beside venue. The track is indoor and you will need 5mm spikes. Allow 1.5 hours from Naas. (P.S. exit 25 off M7 motorway is also for Nenagh).
From Naas take the old Newbridge road into the town. Drive straight into Newbride town centre and take right turn at Bank of Ireland onto Stattion road. The track is beside the VEC on the right about 600m from traffic lights. This is a grass track. Allow 15 minutes from Naas.
St Abbans, Co. Laois
Take N78 through Athy and Ballylynan. At Newtown Cross (R430) take left turn. After approx 3km there is a fork in road. Take right hand fork then at end of that road turn right. Take next left and track is on the right. Track is cinder track. Allow 1 hour from Naas.
Star of the Sea athletic club, Stamullen, Co. Meath
Take M7 motorway to Dublin. At red cow interchange take the M50 north exit. Continue on M50 to exit 3 which is signposted M1 and take this turnoff. Continue on M1 and take exit 7 signposted Drogheda South/Julianstown at City North Hotel. At roundabout take exit signposted Julianstown. Approx 300m from roundabout turn left down road signposted Balbriggan/Stamullen/Gormanstown. Continue on road and after bridge turn right signposted Balbriggan/Stamullen/Gormanstown. Follow this road for approx 1km, and then turn right at Huntsman Pub signposted Stamullen. After 300m turn right signposted Stamullen and pass Gormanstown College. Drive straight through Stamullen village, at end of village where there is housing estate and nursing home there will be signposts to venue. Allow 1 hour from Naas.
Suncroft, Co. Kildare
Take M7 Southbound from Naas, At Junction 12 take exit toward R445 signposted Curragh/Newbridge, At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Curragh Chase and drive towards the Curragh Camp, Drive straight through Curragh Camp and at first crossroads continue straight onto Brownstown Manor, Drive approx. 5km until you reach Suncroft. Allow 25 minutes from Naas about 26km in total.
Rathdrum (Avondale), Co. Wicklow
Take the M7 motorway to Dublin. At red cow interchange take the M50 south exit. Continue on M50 in the direction of Dundrum and keep on this road until it joins with the N11 (direction of Wexford). Follow the signs for Rathdrum. Avondale House is situated on the R752 about one mile from Rathdrum. Allow one hour for the journey.
Tattersalls, Ratoath, Co. Meath
From Naas take N7 towards Dublin. Take M50 Northbound and leave at junction 5 and take N2 signposted Derry. Merge onto M2 and leave M2 at junction 3, then at first roundabout follow R125 to Ratoath. Once in Ratoath follow signs for Fairyhouse racecourse. Tattersalls is situated opposite Fairyhouse Racecourse. 40 minutes from Naas.
From Naas take the M7 motorway and take exit 15 signposted for Portarlington. Follow signs for Emo (R422) and drive through Emo village. About 3 miles further on you come to a major junction take right turn onto R419 signposted Portarlington. Go straight through Portarlington and take the R420 for Tullamore. When you reach Tullamore, drive through a series of roundabouts and look out for Tullamore Lesiure Centre on your left hand side. At the next roundabout take a left turn and look for sign N52 (Birr). Go to top of road and take right turn at lights. Go down road and straight through lights and take immediate left turn onto Charleville road signposted N52 Birr. Tullamore harriers will be about 400m up this road on the left hand side. Drive very slowly as the entrance is between houses (green gates with Tullamore Harriers on) and can be easily missed. Charleville Castle (Cross Country venue) is located a further 400m down Charleville Road on the right hand side. Allow 1 hour 10 minutes from Naas.
