Naas AC Family & Friends Quiz Night

We’re delighted to announce our inaugural Virtual Quiz Night.  This page will be your source of information, enable you to pay for your entry and crucially enable to stay in touch with the questions, answers and scoring on our YouTube feed.

You will be able to participate in the quiz online and view the YouTube stream which will be important to understand when each round goes live, as well as here how well you’ve done. 

Everyone is welcome and we hope you enjoy the quiz.

Voluntary Donations - 5 For The Fight, Breakthrough Cancer Research​

We’re very grateful to Qualtrics, for letting use the software used in this quiz for no fee.  As a means of thanks, it would be great if people were able to donate to the company charity fund; “5 For The Fight”.

5 For The Fight is a fund started in the memory of Qualtrics EMEA founder, Dermot Costello, which raises funds explicitly to find cures for cancers that often miss out on larger funding.  To date the fund has directly funded the employment of three specialist research scientists.

The fund is part of the Breakthrough Cancer Research charity and you can access by clicking on the logo or scanning the QR code.

Once the quiz begins on Friday the first of May from 7.30pm, you will be able to access each of the question rounds via the buttons below.  Please make sure that you are also following the YouTube Livestream above to make sure you get the instructions as to when each round goes live, who’s in the lead, who’s won, etc.

A few rules

The quiz is a bit of fun, raising money for a good cause.  We’re obliged to have a few rules, so here goes:

  • Only one team entry per €10 payment
  • If  Payments can only be made via the link on this page, which allows credit cards/debit cards/Apple Pay/Google Pay
  • The quiz masters answers are final
  • Team names must be family friendly
  • Unsavoury or family unfriendly comments in the YouTube chat will invalidate entry
  • Allocation of Prizes will be confirmed on the YouTube link (& this site) on the night, as agreed by the Naas AC committee
  • There are 8 rounds of 8 questions each in the main quiz.  If these are finished by 9.15, then we will proceed with two rapid fire Extra rounds.  If finished by 9.20, then, we will proceed with Extra round 1 only
