Naas Athletics Club are pleased to announce our first 5 mile road race, being held this year to celebrate 100 years of the Club’s existence. Join us to help celebrate this milestone and to challenge yourself.
The race HQ is at Naas Racecourse (see Google maps link below). The route will take runners on 2 laps of the infamous Tipper Triangle, passing the rugby club and back to the racecourse. The scenery is fabulous and it promises to be a brilliant evening.
It’s a road race (no trails), consisting of two laps of a 4k loop. There’s a gentle uphill for the first 1k approx of each lap, followed by a corresponding downhill for about 1k and then 2k approx flat.
There will be t-shirts for the first 300 registered.
The race starts at 7:30pm and will be preceded by 2 kids’ races in the racecourse, these are free to enter on the night.
